Your Transition Coach is Mike Burroughs

Mike brings over three decades of diverse leadership and executive experience to his career transition and performance coaching clients.  Twelve of those years have been spent in executive recruiting with a "top ten" global executive search firm, where he has served as a division president and as an EVP & managing director.  He has placed executives from director to public company CEO in the US, Asia and Europe.

Prior to his executive recruiting role which began in 2000, Mike served in a variety of executive level positions with divisions of four Fortune 500 companies. 

Mike is a certified Master Corporate Executive Coach (MCEC) and a Board Certified Coach (BCC) with over 2,500 hours of performance and career coaching experience, and serves on the Board of Advisors to the Association of Corporate Executive Coaches.  He is also a member of the executive coaching cadre of Lee Hecht Harrison.

Before entering the private sector, Mike served on active duty for 12 years as an army officer.  He resigned from the military as a newly promoted major and successfully made the transition to the private sector to join a Fortune 100 company in an executive role.  He took a commission in the Army Reserve when he entered the private sector and later retired as a colonel.  For his exemplary service to the nation, he was awarded both the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Legion of Merit.
